Top NBA Draft Prospects in the Big 12 (Part Two: #6-10) by Rodger Bohn, Jonathan Givony, Joseph Treutlein, Joey Whelan |

In advance of the rapidly approaching college basketball season, we're once again breaking down the top individual prospects in college basketball, going conference by conference. Freshman have been excluded from these previews, as we'd like to wait and see what they have to offer on the NCAA circuit before we come to any long-term conclusions. We continue with Big 12, with seniors Kevin Rogers, Curtis Jerrells and Connor Atchley look to go on a positive note and possibly get drafted, while guards Sherron Collins and LaceDarius Dunn showed enough sparks of potential to be deemed worthy of keeping tabs on.

In advance of the rapidly approaching college basketball season, we'll once again be breaking down the top individual prospects in college basketball, going conference by conference. Freshman have been excluded from these previews, as we'd like to wait and see what they have to offer on the NCAA circuit before we come to any long-term conclusions. First we start with Big 12, where potential #1 overall pick Blake Griffin competes with Oklahoma, followed by forwards Damion James, James Anderson and Craig Brackins, as well as center Cole Aldrich.

| | Blog: BasketBollocks - your ultimate Bollocks source by Sham |

Hello. My name is Sham, and I am your new DraftExpress blogger.
Sham isn't my real name, obviously. Even if it was, my real name would have to consist of more than just that solitary syllable, because I'm not a Portuguese footballer. No sane parent calls their son by a one syllable all-inclusive name, and only Maybyner Hilario, or those in some kind of intensely religious and/or professional hip-hop artist capacity, will opt to abridge their name in that way. Also, I'm a bit too English for all of that. We have a monarchy, you know.

The youngest group of players in Dallas was also clearly the most talented, with Jared Sullinger helping them lead the way to beat the 2009 US team and come away as the victors of the adidas Nations Experience. We also take a look at Brandon Knight, Adreian Payne, LaQuinton Ross, Trey Zeigler and Evan Anderson.

| adidas Nations Experience: 2009 High School Prospects by Jonathan Givony |

While the teams from Europe, South America, Asia and Canada surely added to the level of competition and made this camp all the more intriguing, the focus of the week definitely seemed to be on the American high schoolers. With the rather pedestrian 2009 class not represented all that well, the much more naturally talented 2010 class (reinforced by two 2011 players) was able to knock them off in the final game, showcasing better team spirit and chemistry and looking to have far more future NBA talent at its disposal. For the 09 group, Derrick Favors was here, largely in spirit only, which allowed us to take a more in-depth look at Dexter Strickland than we’ve previously been able to. We also throw in our two cents on Peyton Siva, Christian Watford, G.J. Vilarino and Junior Cadougan.

| adidas Nations Experience 2008: European Prospects by Jonathan Givony |
|---|
adidas brought a stronger group of European prospects to the US this summer compared to last year. As is often the case due to the type of prospects they are and the very specific strengths they bring to the table--the European squad took a few days to fully mesh and look comfortable playing with each other. By the end of the camp, though, they really started to show their potential and were only narrowly knocked out of the bracket in the semi-finals by the eventual champion 2010 US team. This was an excellent opportunity to evaluate two extremely intriguing prospects that we weren’t all that familiar with before—Deniz Kilicli and Tomas Satoranski, as well as a host of other well known names from the 1990 and 1991 age group.
